Video |Daniel Dubois And Joe Joyce Weigh-In
Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce hit the scales earlier today ahead of tomorrow’s (Sat. November 28) 12-round heavyweight clash. The bout’s winner could be in line for a possible WBO heavyweight title shot against Oleksandr Usyk if current champion Anthony Joshua decides to vacant the title to pursue a matchup with Tyson Fury.
Dubois clocked in at 244.4 pounds, while Joyce came in at 258.9 pounds. Both men are undefeated, with Dubois holding a 15-0, 14KO record while Joyce is 11-0, 10KO. The fact that both men are known knockout artists adds an extra dose of spice to this encounter.
Both men come into this bout on the back of tune-up fights, with Dubois stopping the Netherlands’ Ricardo Snijders back in August, a few weeks after Joyce had soundly beaten Germany’s Michael Wallisch.
The two men engaged in a tense stand-off following the weigh-in: helping increase the most anticipation around one of the most talked-about bouts of 2020.
