Mike Tyson Tells Jake Paul That Conor McGregor Is Not Afraid Of Him
Jake Paul has sent numerous call-out videos to Conor McGregor over the past few months, apparently offering McGregor a $50 million fight.
In a recent interview, McGregor referred to Paul as ‘the YouTube kid,’ but hasn’t taken any of Paul’s fight offers seriously.
Paul was a guest on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin‘ podcast recently and spoke about McGregor’s previous fight against Dustin Poirier, at UFC 257.
“I called out McGregor while the whole entire world was watching. He’s fighting a guy, Dustin Poirier, who he TKOed already,” Paul said.
Tyson responded by telling Paul “You know Conor’s not afraid of you, right?”
McGregor lost via round-two TKO and shortly after Paul was quick to respond with a video message to McGregor.
$10,000 for you, cash money. You could have had $50 million but now I have $10,000 for you,” Paul said.
McGregor has not yet officially responded to Paul, however did make a comment about him at the UFC 257 post-fight press conference.
“He seems like a confused little kid to me, to be honest,” McGregor said.
In a recent video on Instagram, Paul can be seen sat on a Miami beach, when a plane flies overhead holding a banner, reading ‘Conor McGregor is scared of Jake Paul.’
Paul is really pulling out all of the stops trying to secure a fight with McGregor.
Since we seen McGregor return to the ring since the start of 2020 over the weekend, post-fight he claims he is not going anywhere and we’ll see more of him.
News broke today that Jake Paul has been matched to fight former UFC fighter Ben Askren, on April 17.
Another fighter Paul has been trading online blows with, over the past year.
