Andy Ruiz Jr. Returns On April 24 Against Chris Arreola
Andy Ruiz Jr. is set for his first fight since losing the rematch to Anthony Joshua in December of 2019.
The heavyweight fight will air on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View from a location to be determined. Boxingscene was the first to report the news. The fight has also been in the works for over a year but they finally agreed to a deal recently.
According to the report details on the undercard were still in discussion. A strong emphasis will be placed on showcasing PBC boxers on the rise and poised to contend for a world title in 2021.
Andy Ruiz Jr., as mentioned, is coming off the loss to Joshua. Before that, he pulled off one of the biggest boxing upsets as he TKO’d Joshua to hand the Brit his first career loss. After the fight, he said he partied too much in the rematch and promises to be better in his next fight.

Chris Arreola, meanwhile, is coming off a decision loss to Adam Kownacki in August. He has fought for the WBC heavyweight title but lost to Bermane Stiverne in 2014.
