George Foreman ‘Cannot See’ Anthony Joshua Beating Tyson Fury
George Foreman believes Tyson Fury will beat Anthony Joshua when they end up fighting.
It was recently revealed that Joshua and Fury have agreed to a two-fight deal with the goal of having both fights in 2021. Yet, no date or venue has been revealed but when they do end up fighting, Foreman believes it will be Fury getting his hand raised.
“That boy Tyson Fury, you’re going to have to bring everything you’ve got to beat him,” Foreman said to iFL TV (via talksport). “And I’m going to be honest with you, I just cannot see Joshua beating him. But I sure would buy some tickets to see what would happen, I’m that curious about it. But that Tyson Fury man, woooh, Fury – I mean, how did he get the name?”
The winner of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua will be the undisputed heavyweight champion and one of the best heavyweights of all-time. However, before either man can claim that title, they will have to win both fights as the two will have an immediate rematch.
Although many pundits also consider it a close fight, Fury believes he could beat Joshua after drinking several pints of beer.
“I am drinking anything between eight, ten, 12 pints of lager a day, at the minute. But I am not eating so I am getting my calories through alcohol,” Fury said. “I have trained and trained and trained with no progress, so I am now a man of leisure. I could drink 14 pints and still give AJ a hiding. I’m not training anymore. I only need six-seven weeks anyway for these bums. I don’t need no big, great sparring partners for a bodybuilding type of guy, I just need the local binmen.”
