Mike Tyson Makes Surprise Wrestling Cameo Appearance
Mike Tyson recently made his long awaited return to boxing, as he drew with Roy Jones Jr. on November 28.
He is looking to face off against Evander Holyfield next. However, Tyson made a surprise feature in a recent All Elite Wrestling event.
‘Iron’ Mike can be seen storming the stage, ripping off his shirt in true pro wrestling style. He launched himself at Shawn Spears, blitzing the wrestler with a flurry of punches. Tyson followed the punches with a double leg takedown, then landed ground and pound, more commonly seen in an MMA fight.
The 54 year old still seems to be in fighting shape. According to Sky Sports, Tyson has a 3 man short list of potential opponents to face next. As mentioned above, Evander Holyfield tops that list. Another former opponent of Tyson’s, who is also on the list, is Lennox Lewis. Lastly is the ‘Gypsy King’ himself, Tyson Fury.
A report from Sky Sports revealed that Holyfield stated the following: “No more excuses. This is the fight that must happen for both our legacies.”
“Saturday night you said you were ready to fight me, so sign the contract and get in the ring, Tyson. The world is waiting and it’s on you now. I’m ready.”
