Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather Targeted For June 5
Early reports suggest that Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul may take place on June 5th.
With his younger brother, Jake, coming off a successful boxing match against Ben Askren, Logan Paul is looking to further establish the Paul name on the world of Boxing. Logan is set to face off against one of Boxing’s greatest, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
Whilst the fight was originally intended to take place in February, it was postponed with an unconfirmed new date. However, according to The Athletic, the event may have June 5th set as a target date and will be shown on Showtime. Mayweather has hinted on his social media that the fight will take place in either Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas or Atlanta.
Should the fight take place on June 5th, it with air at the same time as Triller Fight Club’s PPV event featuring Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr.
The fight between Paul and Mayweather is set to be an exhibition bout and will take place over six rounds. The Athletic also reported that Mayweather will not be allowed to weigh in over 160lbs, whilst Paul’s limit is set at 190.
