Floyd Mayweather ‘Probably Not’ Doing Any More Exhibition Matches

Floyd Mayweather is done with exhibition matches. For now.

Mayweather competed in his second post-retirement exhibition match when he took on Logan Paul last night.

Despite a huge size and weight disadvantage, many expected Mayweather to get the knockout. However, Paul managed to survive the full eight rounds and with no official winner in the exhibition, it was a major win in itself for the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

While Mayweather received criticism for not finishing Paul off, he doesn’t seem to care too much as he made bank as expected.

Will he do another exhibition in the future, potentially against Jake Paul? For now, it doesn’t look like it’ll be the case.

“I’m not coming back to the sport of boxing [to face real boxers], absolutely not,” Mayweather said (via BoxingNews24). “I did what I had to do, I made my mark on the sport. As far as me doing another exhibition, probably not.

“I got all my faculties, made a ton of money. Hey, money ain’t everything. Well, I know we got to eat food every day to survive so we can live longer, and that takes money.”

That said, it would surprise absolutely nobody if Mayweather returned for another exhibition match in a year or two.

However, the longer he keeps this up, the more he risks messing with Father Time.
