Ticket Prices Revealed For Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 3
Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder had their press conference on Tuesday night for their trilogy fight and ticket prices have been revealed.
The heavyweight title fight will take place on July 24 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and the cheapest ticket at the top of the upper bowl in the arena costs a massive $505 face value. Ticket reselling websites already have those seats at double the price of face value.
Although this is not the fight many wanted to see as it was expected Fury would face Joshua. Yet, an arbitrator ruled Wilder was owed the third fight and for Fury’s promoter, Bob Arum, he believes the third fight will be bigger but expects the same result.
“Let’s be honest about it,” Arum said at a press conference about Fury-Wilder 3 (via Mirror). “The first fight was a tremendous fight. Tyson showed what a great boxer he is, he got knocked down twice and they called it a draw. The second fight was, as well all witnessed, a very one-sided fight, but even a one-sided fight at heavyweight is still great because fans love to see the big guys duking it out.
“The third fight, based on the first two, I really predict will be bigger than the first two fights based on the orders that we’re getting for tickets, they far exceed what we did for the last fight,” Arum continued about Fury-Wilder 3. “I believe that the pay-per-view is going to be bigger than it was last time, and we’re happy that every restaurant is opening up around the country because the closed circuit action in the United States that will be shown there will be tremendous. There’s pent up demand that the fans have, so I’m looking forward to a great fight and a great event and I think it’s going to set all kinds of records for a heavyweight championship fight.”
