Gervonta Davis Knocks Mario Barrios Down Thrice To Become Three-Division Champion
Gervonta Davis is officially a three-division champion.
“Tank” accomplished the feat following an 11th-round TKO win over Mario Barrios to become the new WBA super lightweight champion.
After a great start from the champion, Davis knocked Barrios down twice in the eighth round. Barrios showed great heart to continue fighting and remained a game opponent, but was ultimately downed again in the 11th after a body shot.
Davis would get the win soon after as the referee called an end to the fight.
