Gervonta Davis vs Rolando Romero Title Fight Official For December 5th

Gervonta Davis‘ next fight is set.

“Tank” will defend his WBA Regular lightweight title against Rolando Romero at a Showtime pay-per-view event taking place December 5 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

It will be a grudge match between the two unbeaten boxers with no love lost between them. Tickets are available on AXS.com.

As part of the WBA’s plan to reduce the number of belts in the sport, Davis vacated his super featherweight belt while Romero was stripped of his WBA interim lightweight champion status and named the mandatory challenger.

Davis is coming off an impressive 11th-round TKO win over Mario Barrios to win the WBA super lightweight title in June.

Romero — who became interim lightweight champion in August last year — is coming off a TKO win over Anthony Yigit in July.

Expect more fight card announcements in the near future.
