Floyd Mayweather Takes Aim At ‘Easy’ Canelo Alvarez: ‘I Cooked This Dude’
Floyd Mayweather is ramping up the trash talk against Canelo Alvarez.
Mayweather has been taking plenty of digs at his old rival recently by stating how he felt Alvarez should be fighting David Benavidez next instead of Ilunga Makabu.
Mayweather even went as far as saying Alvarez was ducking Benavidez.
Floyd Mayweather: Canelo Was Easy
Speaking at the post-fight press conference following Gervonta Davis‘ win over Isaac Cruz last night, Mayweather hit back at critics who felt “Tank” lost by bringing up his win over Alvarez.
“They don’t wanna see ‘Tank’ win because they feel like they’re beating me, because I dominated the fight game for so long,” Mayweather said. “But these same writers out here, they’ll praise Canelo…
“He can pick and choose who he wants to fight. I’m gonna tell you the truth about Canelo — motherf*cker easy, man. A cake walk, easy. Y’all sitting up here, y’all praising this dude, this dude was nothing. I was almost 40 years old when I cooked this dude, easy.”

Mayweather notably defeated Alvarez by majority decision back in their 2013 meeting after outboxing and outclassing him over 12 rounds.
