Former Boxing Champion Tevin Farmer Offers Homeless Man $120,000-A-Year Job In An Attempt To “Change Lives”
Tevin Farmer is looking to change people’s lives.
Farmer, the former IBF super featherweight champion, has offered a homeless man a $120,000-a-year job in an attempt to change his life. Farmer revealed his random act of kindness on Twitter in which he offered a homeless person $10,000 a month to work for him.
“Met a homeless guy today. He was so cold outside. Took him 2 the store. Bought him everything he needed. Paid for a hotel for 2 weeks,” he wrote. “Hired him to work 4 me, making 10K+ a month. My heart is so full. I couldn’t see him in the cold with nothing. My goal is to change 1 life a year. There’s nothing like helping somebody and changing their life. Literally changing their life.”
Farmer later added on social media that he will “not posting this man bad situation. When he become better. I’ll post him speaking about it. Have a great night.”
The news is amazing to see especially right near the holidays and the good news is, Farmer is now looking to do this at least once a year as boxing has allowed him to do this.
Tevin Farmer (30-5-1 and one No Contest) is coming off a decision loss to Joseph Diaz to lose his IBF super featherweight title. Prior to that, he was on a five-fight winning streak including wins over Francisco Fonseca, Billy Dib, and James Tennyson among others. In his career, he also holds a notable win over Ivan Redkach.
