Tommy Fury Wants To Reschedule Jake Paul Fight For March, Reacts To Woodley KO
Tommy Fury still wants to fight Jake Paul.
Jake Paul is coming off an emphatic knockout win over Tyron Woodley in their boxing rematch this past weekend.
Of course, it was supposed to be Fury fighting Paul only for injury to force his withdrawal from the bout.
Paul didn’t take that too well and is seemingly moving on as he is currently looking to fight UFC stars like Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz.
Boxers aren’t out of the question either as Julio Cesar Chavez is also seemingly a target for the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
With that said, Fury still wants the fight and is hoping it can be rescheduled for March (via Michael Benson).
“That’s the fight I want next,” Fury said. “I don’t get what he’s trying to achieve by calling out UFC people. He wants to be a boxer, doesn’t he? So fight the boxer.”
Tommy Fury: Jake Paul Fight Will Be Easy
As for the knockout win over Woodley?
Fury wasn’t impressed and believes a fight with Paul will be even easier after watching the latter’s overall performance.
“It was a bad, terrible fight,” he added. “A nice punch, but what do you expect off a 14-stone guy when you put your hands down? If that’s Jake training for months to fight me, f***ing hell, it’s gonna be an easy night.”
