Jake Paul Admits He Doesn’t Know Half The People Who Are Calling Him Out

Jake Paul is a popular name for boxers and MMA fighters to call out but the brash YouTuber admits he doesn’t know who half the people are that call him out.

Paul is currently 5-0 as a pro boxer and does not have his next fight booked. Some fans hope he gets rebooked against Tommy Fury but that doesn’t seem like it will happen. With that, several fighters have called him out including Paulie Malignaggi but Paul says he doesn’t know who have these people are.

“I don’t know who half these guys are to be honest. People are calling me out every week, and almost every day honestly. I don’t really pay attention to it anymore,” Paul told Talk Sport (via BoxingScene). “It’s more, ‘Who do I wanna fight? And who would make me excited to get out of bed and go train my ass off for months?’ That’s the opponent I’m looking for. But all these other guys are probably just looking for a payday.”

Jake Paul is coming off a KO win over Tyron Woodley back in December, which served as a rematch of their August bout which Paul won by split decision. The only reason the rematch happened was due to the fact Fury was forced out of the bout due to an injury.

The hope for many fans is Paul’s next fight will be against a legit boxer as they want to see just how good he is. He no doubt has power that can KO anyone, but how he will fare against a real technical boxer is unknown at this point. But, the plan for Paul is to fight near the end of the year against an opponent TBD.

“I want to fight towards the end of the year. The opponent is to be determined and there’s no clear pathway now. I’m just seeing how the cookie crumbles,” Paul said.
