Tyson Fury Reacts To The News Dillian Whyte Has Signed Their Bout Agreement
Tyson Fury has responded after the news Dillian Whyte finally signed their bout agreement.
On Monday, Whyte finally signed the deal to officially confirm the two will fight at Wembley on April 23. The bout will be for the WBC heavyweight belt which Fury holds as Whyte is in the interim champ.
Now, after Fury was told Whyte signed the deal, the heavyweight champ took to Instagram to release a video where he blasted Whyte.
“Oh my God. Dillian Whyte’s signed his contract for $8m. What a surprise! An absolute idiot. Should this even be a talking point? The man signed, for the biggest pay-day he’s ever going to get in his life. Oh my God my head hurts from all the mind games Dillian Whyte’s been playing on me. Oh my God. I’m so sore, I don’t know whether I’m coming or going, my training camps a mess.”
Tyson Fury (31-0-1) is coming off the KO win over Deontay Wilder back in October which was their trilogy bout. Prior to that, he had the TKO win in the rematch fight against Wilder to win the WBC title. In his career, Fury holds notable wins over Wladimir Klitschko, Derek Chisora, Steve Cunningham, and Christian Hammer among others.
Dillian Whyte, meanwhile, is 28-2 and returned to the win column last time out with a TKO win over Alexander Povetkin to win the WBC interim heavyweight title. It served as a rematch after Povetkin scored a massive upset by TKO’ing Whyte in the first fight. His other loss came at the hands of Anthony Joshua by TKO in 2015.
