Josh Taylor somewhat surprisingly held onto his WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring super-lightweight titles after seemingly being outboxed by Jack Catterall at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Englishman proved to be tough to tag throughout the 12 round bout and frequently pinged Taylor with big shots, dropping his man in the eight frame.
The fight was a messy affair with lots of holding and clinching, both men were deducted points.
