Jermell Charlo Issues Warning To Tim Tszyu Over Trash Talk: ‘I’m Knockin’ That Bitch Out’
Jermell Charlo has issued a warning to Tim Tszyu.
Charlo and Tszyu have been booked to fight before but due to injuries, Charlo never made the walk. Since then, Tszyu has remained active and will fight against next weekend, and has continued to take aim at Charlo.
Although Tszyu is still fighting, he still has called out Charlo which the champ isn’t a fan of. With that, he says once he is ready to fight, he vows to KO the Australian.
“Hey, when they release me [to fight], I’m knockin’ that bitch out from Australia,” Charlo said in reference to Tszyu (h/t BoxingScene). “And I ain’t gonna say nothin’ else. And this motherf—– can run his mouth, talk. He gotta get confirmation from all the motherf—– that you fought somebody because, you know, like I’ve done my due diligence in the world of boxing. At 154, I’m the king. I been the king. I’m the king. You gotta go try to, you know what Tony Harrison told you, you know, you got this staircase over here. You know, keep feeling yourself. We’ll get there. When I do fight you, bitch, it’s over. I don’t play that sh!t.”
There is no question Charlo vs. Tszyu will be a big fight, but the Australian will need to win next weekend to set up the fight later on this year.
Jermell Charlo (35-1-1) is coming off a KO win over Brian Castano and before that, fought Castano to a draw. In his career, he holds notable wins over Tony Harrison, Austin Trout, and Jorge Cota among others.
Tim Tszyu (22-0) is coming off the win over Harrison and is set to face Carlos Ocampo next weekend as he defends his interim title.
