Promoter Says Chris Eubank Jr. Has ‘A Lot Of Options’

Kalle Sauerland the promoter of Chris Eubank Jr. says his fighter has a lot of options for his next fight.

Eubank returned to the win column last time out with a stoppage win over Liam Smith to avenge the loss. Since then, he hasn’t gotten his next fight booked, but Sauderland says he is talking with Eubank about some fights like Kell Brook or Janibek Alimkhanuly.

“I’m talking a lot to team Eubank,” Sauerland said, via BoxingScene. “I spoke to them last night. I’ve got another call with them in the next few days. There are a lot of options. Obviously Janibek [Alimkhanuly] has the WBO title, that’s an interesting fight. There is Kell Brook which is also an interesting fight too. There is Josh Kelly too, which is an interning fight, but that is not one we are currently talking about…

“There are always a lot of options with him,” Sauerland added. “I don’t need to kid any of you by mentioning names that people would think are on the option list as well, but it is all down to what team Eubank wants to do.”

The Kell Brook fight is one many fans have wanted to see for quite some time, but whether or not it comes to fruition is to be seen. But, it does seem like Eubank Jr. is getting close to having his next fight booked.

Chris Eubank Jr. (33-3) is coming off a TKO win over Liam Smith after suffering a TKO loss to Smith. Before the loss to Smith, Eubank was on a six-fight winning streak and in his career, he holds notable wins over Avni Yildirim, Tom Doran, Arthur Abraham, and Liam Williams among others.
