Vitali Klitschko
We have to start off the best boxers from Ukraine list with the Ukrainian legend Vitali Klitschko. During the late 1990s to early 2000s, Vitali was on top of the boxing world.
The eldest Klitschko brother won multiple heavyweight titles during his time, which included the WBO, WBC and RIng Magazine titles. In total, Vitali earned an impressive record of 45-2 with 41 knockouts.
Some of Vitali’s biggest wins included Shannon Briggs, Chris Arreola, Samuel Peter, and Danny Williams.
On top of being a HoF boxer, Klitschko was also a kickboxing champion and highly educated with Ph.D in Physical Science. The former mayor of Kyiv is a revered Ukrainian hero and boxing legend.
Wladimir Klitschko
Another Klitschko, who is also one of the best boxers from Ukraine and all-time great is Wladimir Klitschko. After Vitali retired from the sport his brother Wladimir took the throne as the boxing heavyweight king.
Wladimir had an incredible boxing career, where he became the Unified Heavyweight Champion by winning every major championship. From 2004 to 2015 Klitschko dominated the boxing world until he lost the crown to Tyson Fury.
Klitschko ended his legendary career with a record of 64-5 with 53 wins by KO. Then just like his older brother, Wladimir went into the world of politics. For the last two years, Klitschko has been one of the most prominent figures in Ukraine’s war with Russia.
Oleksandr Usyk
Obviously one of the current best boxers from Ukraine in the sport today is 2-division champion Oleksandr Usyk. Olek has continued the reputation of Ukrainian excellence in boxing with his incredible career.
He is currently a 2-division champion and the 2nd Ukrainian to become the unified boxing heavyweight champion. Usyk was able to achieve this feat by giving a boxing masterclass performance in his first bout against Anthony Joshua.
The funny and talented Oleksandr proved his win was no fluke by beating the former champion again in their rematch. Now, the undefeated champion is now in pursuit of establishing his legitimacy as an all-time great by beating Tyson Fury.

Vasiliy Lomachenko
We couldn’t make a list of the best boxers from Ukraine without mentioning “The Matrix” Vasiliy Lomachenko. The Matrix is one of the most talented boxers that fans and experts have seen in generations.
Lomachenko possesses some of the best fighter IQ that we’ve seen in the sport and has delivered countless masterclass boxing lessons. His incredible skills have led him to winning titles in three weight classes and was the unified lightweight champion.
Vasiliy is considered by many as one of the most talented fighters of the current boxing era.
