Number five on the list of the fastest knockouts in boxing history occurred between Jimmy Thunder and Crawford Grimsley. Crawford Grimsley was a former champion kickboxer, who had previously fought George Foreman to a decision.
Jimmy Thunder was a power punching Samoan, who did what Foreman couldn’t do and knocked out Grimsley. Thunder clocked Grimsley with a devastating overhand right at 1.5 seconds of the opening round.
However, the ref started the count late and the knockout was officially ruled at 13 seconds. If the ref called the fight quicker, Jimmy Thunder would hold the record for fast knockout in boxing history.
Zolani Tete vs. Siboniso Gonya(11 Second KO)
Number four on the current list of the fastest knockouts in boxing history occurred between Zolani Tete and Sibioniso Gonya. These two South Africans went against each other in 2017 for the WBO Bantamweight Championship.

Jeremy Williams vs. Arthur Weathers(10.5 Seconds)
Former heavyweight contender Jeremy Williams was a fixture in boxing during the mid 1990s and early 2000s. In 1996, “Half-Man, Half-Amazing” headlined a card in his hometown of Long Beach, California.
The Long Beach native would only need a few seconds to take out Arthur Weathers with a powerful uppercut. Williams’ trainer, Joe Goosen was taking his seat and missed the KO that was marked at 10.5 seconds.

Phil Williams vs. Brandon Burke(10 Second KO)
2nd place on the current list of the fastest knockouts in boxing history took place in 2007. It was a 4-round light heavyweight bout between Phil Williams and Brandon Burke.
Phil “The Drill” came into the fight at 3-0 and was basically set up to win against the 0-2-1 Brandon Burke. Williams did just that as he landed the first punch of the fight and took Burke out in 10 seconds.

Mike Collins vs. Pat Brownson(4 Second)
Among the fastest knockouts in boxing history, the fastest didn’t occur in pro boxing. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the fastest KO ever took place in 1947.
It was a regional Minnesota Golden Gloves tournament between Mike Collins and Pat Brownson. Collins connected with a punch and the referee stopped the fight at just four seconds.
