Jake Paul teases big announcement following Mike Tyson victory
Jake Paul has teased a big announcement in the wake of his big victory over Mike Tyson earlier this month.
In the eyes of many, Jake Paul’s win over Mike Tyson wasn’t that impressive. Alas, even with that being the case, ‘The Problem Child’ is still one of the most interesting figures in combat sports. Many don’t like the fact that he gets a lot more attention than many other boxers, but in terms of name value, he’s right up there with the very best of them.
Ever since defeating Tyson, a lot of people have been wondering what’s next for him. Paul himself has teased the idea of showdowns with the likes of Canelo Alvarez and Conor McGregor, but at this moment in time, those contests don’t seem particularly likely.
What does seem likely, though, is that he fights again within the next 3-6 months in order to maintain some of his momentum. In the following tweet, he suggested that we should all be ready for a big announcement sooner rather than later.

You aren’t going to find many people who believe Jake Paul can be a legitimate world champion in professional boxing. Still, the idea that he has the star power necessary to be in with a shout is fascinating. He has proven himself to be a capable power puncher and above all else, he’ll want to shut people up.
If he does announce another fight, you’d have to think it’ll be another carefully selected opponent. Still, if he’s able to secure a big finish, it could get him one big step closer to the dream matches he’s been teasing.
