Mike Tyson admits he doesn’t remember much of Jake Paul fight
Mike Tyson has admitted that he doesn’t remember much of his recent fight against Jake Paul.
Last month, Mike Tyson returned to the boxing ring for his showdown with Jake Paul. While he had a few brief moments of joy in the bout, he was largely on the back foot, with ‘The Problem Child’ cruising to a relatively simple decision triumph.
Ever since then, many have been left to wonder whether or not the whole thing was worth it. Mike Tyson is in his late 50s and, on the whole, that showed pretty clearly when he was in the ring.
In a recent interview, Tyson spoke candidly about how much he remembers from fight night.
Mike Tyson reflects on Jake Paul fight
“I don’t remember the fight that much,” he said. “I kind of blanked out. I haven’t watched the fight back.
“You know what I remember; coming back from the first round and Jake was doing some sort of bow. That’s the last thing I remember.
“I wasn’t tired, I wasn’t sweaty. I went to the house we were staying in, I left the house with my wife and kids, went to the after-party then went back.
“The day after the fight, I woke up and told my wife ‘why did I do that?’ I just don’t know what the hell went on.”

Moving forward, it’s safe to say that most of us don’t want to see Mike Tyson compete in boxing again. That’s not meant in a mean way, either – it’s just the reality of the situation. He didn’t look like he once did and given his advanced age, he shouldn’t be expected to.
Still, Netflix made lots of money out of the fight, so that’s all that really matters, right? Oh well.
