Ryan Garcia hits out at VADA, leading to questions over Devin Haney rematch

Boxing superstar Ryan Garcia has called VADA into question one again, leading many to wonder how possible a rematch with Devin Haney really is.

As we know, Ryan Garcia initially defeated Devin Haney in their blockbuster boxing showdown last year. It turned out to be a pretty dominant performance, too, which shocked the majority of pundits who believed Haney would have enough to get past the man known as ‘King’.

However, as a result of Ryan Garcia testing positive for a banned substance, the bout was changed to a no contest. Ever since then, many have wondered whether or not a rematch is even plausible. If VADA need to be involved in the testing, then the likely answer is that it won’t take place anytime soon.

Ryan Garcia won’t use VADA again

“It’s getting really strange why it’s always vada vada can we get some other organizations to test. Cause you got bill pushing only vada never says any other organizations and it’s strange he’s pushing a certain organization. Don’t you just want any kind of testing. All this sounds like the people pushing to use Vada are getting some type of cut money wise to have people use Vada. Seems unethical. This is just my opinion.”

“I will always state my innocence. I’m clean but that organization I will never use again.”

Ryan Garcia is going to do whatever he wants to do in the world of boxing. We all know that he’s turned into something of a controversial figure in the last few years, but at the very least, his personality and star power will keep him relevant for quite a while to come.

As for Devin Haney, he needs to focus on getting a win under his belt when he does eventually make his return.
