In those 36 title bouts, Hopkins won world titles in multiple divisions, which included becoming undisputed middleweight champion. His last world title fight took place when he was almost 50 years old.

After winning Olympic gold in 1992, Omar went on to become one of the sport’s greatest flyweight fighters. For over 2 decades, Narvaez dominated multiple divisions in the sport.

He won world titles in two weight classes and had 29 successful world title defenses during his career.

De La Hoya packed arenas around the world to see him compete in 29 world title fights in total. On his way to becoming a 6- division world champion, Oscar beat 24 world titleholders during his fantastic career.

Out of his 29 world title fights, De La Hoya was only beaten four times.

Virgil Hill: 29 Title Bouts

Last up on the list of fighters with the most world title bouts is the great Virgil Hill. After winning an Olympic silver medal, Hill went on to become one of the great light heavyweights ever.

In his 29 world title fights, Hill won 24 of them and one the light heavyweight title twice. Virgil successfully defended his titles 10 times before moving up to cruiserweight and winning two more titles.
