Andy Ruiz Jr. Vows To ‘Humble’ Deontay Wilder After Recent Comments
Andy Ruiz Jr. is excited to humble Deontay Wilder.
Both Ruiz Jr. and Wilder do not have their next fight booked and over the past few weeks, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has taken aim at Ruiz Jr. and blasted him. Wilder accused Ruiz Jr. of ducking him and being afraid to sign the contract.
“We offered you a lot of money and I think you should take it,” Wilder said (h/t BoxingScene). “I don’t want you to allow others to dictate your career at this moment in time bro. You only have a limited time left to make as much money as you possibly can. Don’t allow others to interfere with this, you make the decision. It wouldn’t be fair to you or your kids if you miss out on zeros if you allow others to interfere. Think about it bro. Let’s get this thing done, signed, sealed and delivered. I am sick and tired of waiting around, let’s give the people what they are asking for and what they want. Enough is enough, the ball is in your court now.”
Deontay Wilder also came after Andy Ruiz Jr.’s dad as he accused Andy Ruiz Sr. of taking total control of his son’s career and not being interested in the fight.
After his comments, Andy Ruiz Jr. released a video of him responding to Deontay Wilder and vowed to humble the former heavyweight champ.
“Talking about I’m fat, I got short arms, that’s what everybody thinks,” Ruiz Jr. said in a video he recorded. “That’s what everybody says until they meet me inside the ring… Guess what, this fat chubby kid is about to humble your ass. Let’s get it baby.”
As of right now, there is no word on if Andy Ruiz Jr. and Deontay Wilder will happen. But, it appears both men appear interested in the scrap.
