Anthony Joshua Done With ‘F*cking Losing,’ Plans On Taking Oleksandr Usyk’s Soul
Anthony Joshua is done with losing.
The former heavyweight champion lost his titles last month after getting outboxed by Oleksandr Usyk over 12 rounds.
It was his second defeat in his last four outings with many observers believing Joshua to have next to no chance in a slated rematch with Usyk.
Joshua, however, doesn’t plan on losing again and is seeking a new approach.
“I’m done with f***ing losing. I’m done with trying to learn the sweet science,” Joshua told iFL TV (via Michael Benson). “He might get thrown on the floor in the next fight because this is war. It’s just straight war, I’m annoyed. I’m boiling up even speaking about it – it’s that passion to win.”
For many, Joshua has lacked that killer instinct following his defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr. two years ago.
That said, it looks like “AJ” is planning on bringing it back as he only intends to hurt Usyk in their sequel.
“For me, I have one thing in my mind – that’s war, that’s murder, that’s to go out there and hurt the guy and take his soul to the point where he wants to give up.”
Whether that’s what ends up happening remains to be seen for now.
Do you think Joshua can take Usyk out in a rematch?
