Chris Eubank Jr. Reveals Big Names He Targets With A Win Over Kamil Szeremeta
Chris Eubank Jr. expects to get a big-name opponent should he defeat Kamil Szeremeta on Saturday.
Eubank Jr. is set to return on the Bivol-Beterbiev undercard in Saudi Arabia on Saturday. Heading into the bout, Eubank Jr. has confidence he will not only win by will get a KO. Should Eubank Jr. get the win, he says he has four names in mind and says he’s in talks with three of them.
“Yes, I need to win and do so in devastating fashion,” Eubank Jr. said to TNT Sports, via BoxingSocial. If I don’t, why would people want to see me fight Canelo, Conor Benn, Billy Joe Saunders, or Terence Crawford? If I can’t beat this guy convincingly, why am I fighting them? There’s still so much for me in my boxing career. It’s not just a belief; it’s reality.
“We’re already in talks with Canelo, Benn, Saunders, and the middleweight titleholders. I just need to do my job, stay disciplined, and all those big fights will happen,” Eubank Jr. added.
If Eubank Jr. gets any of those opponents, it would be a massive fight and payday for him. But, he also believes he deserves a big fight after everything he has done in his career.
Although Chris Eubank Jr. is hopeful he can land the Canelo Alvarez fight, he is fine fighting any of them. He also has a history with Benn, which is also a fight he wants.
“Yes, if he sorts out his license, that’s definitely a fight I want next”, said Eubank Jr.
Chris Eubank Jr. is 33-3 as a pro and coming off a TKO win over Liam Smith. Before that, he suffered a TKO loss to Smith. In his career, Eubank Jr. holds notable wins over Avini Yildirim, Renold Quinlan, Nick Blackwell, and Arthur Abraham among others.
