Eddie Hearn To Appeal WBC Ruling Of 80/20 Purse Split For Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte Fight
Eddie Hearn will appeal the WBC’s recent ruling on behalf of Dillian Whyte.
Whyte is slated to challenge Tyson Fury next for his WBC heavyweight title. There were hurdles when it came to negotiations, but they passed soon after the WBC ruled that the purse split would be 80/20 in favor of Fury.
That was particularly bad news for Whyte who was seemingly looking for at least 45 percent of the purse.
And so, his promoter in Hearn will now appeal the ruling via the WBC as well as an arbitration.

Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte Set For March
Whether the appeal will be successful or if it’ll affect the slated matchup remains to be seen.
However, the fight is on for now with Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren recently revealing it would take place on March 26.
There are no negotiations between the two parties as of now, and if a deal is not agreed before January 11, the fight will go to purse bids.
Do you think the appeal for Dillian Whyte will work out?
