Floyd Mayweather: Logan Paul Doesn’t Have ‘A Chance In Hell’
Floyd Mayweather isn’t doing much to give fans hope in Logan Paul pulling off an upset.
Mayweather will compete in his second post-retirement exhibition boxing match when he takes on Paul in an eight-rounder this Saturday.
Despite being at a size, reach and strength disadvantage, Mayweather is naturally a massive favorite going into the matchup with the 0-1 YouTuber.
And unlike with his last professional fight against Conor McGregor, “Money” isn’t even hyping up Paul’s chances of getting the win.
“It really doesn’t matter if I have an intense training camp or don’t,” Mayweather said on Showtime (via Michael Benson). “This kid doesn’t have a chance in hell. I can’t be f***ing beat. I’m Floyd. I beat the biggest names – real fighters. This is a YouTuber, c’mon now.”
Mayweather went a step further by labeling it as a legalized bank robbery.
“My nickname is ‘Money’ for a reason,” he added. “I worked extremely hard for years and years to get to a certain level. A level where we can start calling everything an event. I believe in working smarter, not harder. So if it’s something easy like [the Paul fight], a legalized bank robbery, I gotta do it. I have to do it.”
It’s a bank robbery in many ways as we’ll all be tuning in while knowing the result all along.
That is, unless Paul pulls off one of the biggest upsets in combat sport history.
