Floyd Mayweather, Logan Paul Faceoff For Final Time Before Exhibition Bout
Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul had their final faceoff after their weigh-ins on Saturday night.
Mayweather and Paul are set to fight tonight (Sunday, June 6) at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. The fight is an eight-round exhibition bout with Paul having a massive size advantage. Mayweather who’s 44-years-old weighed in at 155lbs while Paul, 26, weighed in at 189.5lbs.
After the weigh-in, the two had another faceoff and the size discrepancy was noticeable once again.
After the long faceoff, the two had a chance for a final message to the fans. For Paul, he says he doesn’t think Mayweather is ready as all the pressure is on the undefeated boxer.
“He’s not ready. He don’t know what to expect,” Paul said (via MMAJunkie). “And this is not the biggest fight of my life. This is the biggest fight of his life, because he’s got a lot on the line, and he’s got everything to lose. I’m gonna go in there and have fun. The fact that I’m even up here proves that this sh*t is a simulation. None of it’s real. The aliens are coming in June. Just be ready. Tomorrow I break the f*cking simulation and beat the greatest boxer in the history of the planet.”
Mayweather, meanwhile, made it clear that he doesn’t care about the size and weight advantage. Instead, he knows his skillset will be the difference maker as he will be able to beat Paul with ease.
“I fought every different style you could possibly fight,” Mayweather said. “Height don’t win fights, weight don’t win fights, fighting wins fights. At the end of the day, I can fight.”
Floyd Mayweather is 50-0 as a pro boxer while Logan Paul is 0-1.
