Frank Warren: Negotiations Going On For Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury Fight
It looks like we might see Jake Paul and Tommy Fury box each other after all.
The pair have been sparring on social media recently with Paul urging Fury to sign one of the many contracts he’s been sending.
Fury, however, hit back by confirming that he did turn down those offers as well as any future $1 million offer as he felt he needed to be paid a lot more.
Paul would later offer Fury one last chance and it seems to have worked.
Fury’s promoter Frank Warren revealed that while Paul’s offers were legitimate, Fury would need to be earning a lot more to agree to a fight.
However, negotiations are currently ongoing which is the main thing to take away.
“That offer was made, but that fight is worth millions and millions of dollars so Tommy wants to get what he feels is a decent purse,” Warren was quoted as saying. “The negotiations are going on and hopefully we can work something out.”
Will Paul go 5-0 and continue his boxing journey? Or will Fury inflict the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s first defeat? We may find out soon.
