Frank Warren Reveals Another Big Fight Is Heading To Saudi Arabia
Frank Warren claims a big fight will be heading to Saudi Arabia, and should be announced in the very near future.
Saudi Arabia has become home to massive boxing fights, as of late, as Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder took place there while ‘The Day of Reckoning Card’ also happened in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk will also happen in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 17, and Warren revealed another big fight is set to take place in the country early next year.
“We are working on [other fights] and there will be a press conference early in January to announce the undercard for Tyson’s show and also what is happening in March,” Warren told Talk Sport. “It’ll be very interesting, that’s for sure. It’ll be a big fight. This whole thing has been a game-changer. That was the phrase I used from the beginning with Tyson vs Ngannou. I just felt this was gonna lead to something special, and the last show was special.
“The next one on the [February] 17th is very, very special with all the titles on the line. Four belts on the line, that’s going to be magnificent. The other guys have got to keep winning, to keep in the running to fight the winner down the road,” Warren continued.
As of right now, it’s uncertain what the fight will be, but some rumors are indicating it may involve Anthony Joshua and his next bout.
But, for now, Warren’s focus is on Fury vs. Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title on Feb. 17 in a massive fight for the sport of boxing.
