Gervonta Davis & Jake Paul Trade Barbs Over Hitlist
Gervonta Davis and Jake Paul have found themselves in a war of words.
Paul got the boxing and MMA communities buzzing once again with his hitlist. On the list were names that Paul is looking to share the ring with one day. “Tank” Davis, who is far smaller than Paul in terms of height and weight, was on that list.
Davis fired a warning to Paul on his Twitter account.
Jake Paul better leave me tf alone..

“Jake Paul better leave me tf alone.”
Paul was quick to respond with insults.
“You’re just mad you’re not tall enough to ride the rides at the amusement park.”
“Someone has a SHORT temper.”
Typically, Davis fights at 130 pounds. He told media members that his preference is between 130 and 135 pounds but special fights at 140 are also intriguing.
“It’s all about like if I wanna do it. You know, if I wanna get bigger, I can get bigger. If I wanna stay small, I can stay small. You know, but I’d rather, you know, be between that 30 and 35. You know, go up to 40 if the fight’s right, but most importantly stay at 130 to 35.”
Paul fights as a cruiserweight, which for him is usually 195 pounds. Of course, he has a significant size advantage over Davis. In terms of boxing experience, it isn’t even close as Davis holds titles in three different weight classes.
Paul is set to be in action on Aug. 29. He’ll share the ring with former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley. This will be Paul’s fourth pro boxing match and Woodley’s first. In his last outing, Paul earned a first-round TKO victory over Woodley’s longtime friend and training partner, Ben Askren. A big difference between Woodley and Askren, however, is that “The Chosen One” has punching power.
