Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley Rescheduled, Taking Place In Cleveland
There have been a few changes with regard to the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley fight.
It’s been known for a while that Paul would take on the former UFC welterweight champion in a boxing match set for August 28 in Miami, Florida.
However, it was announced by Showtime on Monday that it would be rescheduled for a day later on August 29 instead. Additionally, the venue is now the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
Cleveland is notably where Paul calls home.
Showtime — who will be broadcasting the card, having signed Paul — also announced that WBC and WBO featherweight champion Amanda Serrano will defend her titles against Yamileth Mercado on the card.
Paul will look to go 4-0 in professional boxing with another knockout win over Woodley. Woodley, meanwhile, is making his professional boxing debut and will be looking to end the hype train of the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Woodley previously competed for the UFC where he was released following a four-fight losing streak.
