John Fury Angirly Confronts Carl Frampton After He Said Jake Paul Would Beat Tommy Fury

John Fury was not happy that Carl Frampton picked Jake Paul to beat Tommy Fury.

Paul and Fury were supposed to fight in December but Fury was forced out of the bout due to an injury. Prior to that though, Frampton thought Paul is much better than Fury. The English boxing legend told talkSport in November Paul would defeat Fury.

“I’ve seen Jake Paul, little highlights of him. I’ve seen Tommy Fury, I was actually working for BT for one of his fights as a pundit,” Frampton said. “I think that if you put a gun to my head, I think I fancy Jake Paul in that fight, if I’m being honest.  Although he’s very, very new to boxing, he’s alright. He can box a bit. Yet to fight a proper boxer, but I think he’s been very careful with the opponents he does pick and I think Tommy Fury, a novice professional – let’s call a spade a spade, that’s what he is, a very novice professional with a lot to learn – I think he’s [Paul] getting him at the right time.”

Now, John Fury finally got the chance to see Frampton and the confrontation was captured by boxingsocial.

Fury started: “You what? You think Jake Paul’s a boxer?”

Frampton replied: “No I don’t think he’s a boxer.”

And Fury followed up: “Then why do you think he can beat Tommy then? Answer the question now.

“You disappoint me, I looked up to you and I supported you.”

Frampton responded: “I’m just trying to be honest John.”

Fury raged: “Honest? Honest saying a YouTuber could beat a Fury? Are you p***ed?”

Frampton hit back: “I’m not p***ed, I’m just trying to be honest.”

To which Fury replied: “I don’t wanna talk to you.”

As Carl Frampton walked away “Get your facts right or get off the job.”

Whether or not we will see Jake Paul and Tommy Fury fight next is to be seen?
