Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora Rematch Announced For December 18
Joseph Parker and Derek Chisora will run things back.
DAZN announced Thursday that the pair of heavyweights are set to have a rematch taking place December 18 at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
Of course, their first meeting took place in May in the same venue. Despite Chisora knocking Parker down in the first round of that contest, the New Zealander went on to win a split decision by the end of the 12-rounder.
Chisora was notably not happy with the decision and will now have his chance at exacting revenge.
Parker vs. Chisora was one of three events DAZN announced on the day.
Another event taking place October 16 is a 143-pound bout between four-division champion Mikey Garcia and Spain’s Sandor Martin. It will take place in Fresno, California, in what will be Garcia’s first outing since outpointing Jessie Vargas in February last year.
The other event that was announced was the Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin fight which was previously reported on Wednesday.
