Kell Brook Claims He Has Signed His End Of A Deal For Amir Khan Fight
We may be getting closer and closer to a Kell Brook vs. Amir Khan fight.
With the pair seemingly in the twilight of their careers, there were serious talks recently about them finally facing off for one last payday.
Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn even revealed that he would promote it for the right price.
However, that was a few months ago and there had been no updates since. Until now.
In a recent interview with iFL TV (via Michael Benson), Brook revealed that he had done his part as far as a contract was concerned.
It’s now all down to Khan to make the fight a reality.
“Kell Brook has declared that he’s signed his side of the deal to fight Amir Khan next and is just waiting on Khan to do the same: ‘I’ve done my thing, let’s see if he does his and we’ve got the biggest fight in British boxing.'”
While it remains to be seen if it’s the biggest fight in British boxing, it’s still a big fight that the British public have wanted to see for more than a couple of years.
If Khan seemingly does his part, we’ll have a fight confirmed soon hopefully.
