Le’Veon Bell Says He’s Not Boxing As A Hobby, Has Big Plans For Pro Career
Le’Veon Bell has made it clear he is not boxing for a hobby, and rather has big plans for his career.
Bell scored a KO win over Adrian Peterson and is now set to turn pro against former UFC fighter Uriah Hall. It’s an intriguing matchup and although not many are giving Bell a chance, he says he is all-in on this sport and is ready to see how far he can go.
“I gotta be all-in on boxing if I’m gonna do this, because it’s not something you can play around with if you want to be the best at it,” Bell said to ESPN. “I’m not about to do something if I ain’t trying to be the best at it, to be honest. I’m not doing this as a hobby. I’m not just doing it to try and get money or any type of fame. For me, it’s more for myself. See how far I can go.”
The goal for Le’Veon Bell is to prove the doubters wrong on Saturday night and set up some big fights with either Paul brother and then onto legit cruiserweights.
“Everybody kind of thinks I’m just talking about it,” Bell said. “They don’t know all the hard work and sacrifices I’ve made to get to this point here. That’s why Oct. 29 is a great opportunity to show people what I’ve been doing… I’m not doing this to just cut the check and get a little Instagram followers. I’m trying to do this to show people I’m one of the best athletes that’s walking around on this Earth.”
Do you think Le’Veon Bell will beat Uriah Hall on Saturday?
