Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather Rebooked For June 6
The date and venue of the exhibition bout between YouTuber Logan Paul and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has finally been set.
Mayweather holds one of the best records we have ever seen in the world of boxing, with a perfect 50-0. Paul holds a somewhat less impressive pro record of 0-1.
But regardless of records, the two men will face off on June 6th. This is according to Mayweather, who posted the following on his Instagram:
“JUNE 6, 2021!!!! MIAMI
Me and Logan Paul will be fighting at the Hard Rock Stadium. Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio and Showtime Boxing have come together to bring an epic Event!!!”
Mayweather, now aged 44, has not fought professionally since 2017 when he TKO’d MMA fighter, Conor McGregor. He did feature in an exhibition fight against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, whom he also comfortably dispatched.
Logan Paul only has the one professional fight to his name. A split decision loss to fellow YouTuber, KSI. However, his younger brother, Jake Paul, has also dipped his toe into the world of boxing, recently knocking former MMA fighter Ben Askren.
According to Fanmio, the details of the exact rules of this exhibtion fight between Paul and Mayweather will be released shortly.
