Logan Paul Wants To Box His Brother After Jake Calls Him A Fake Fighter
As we all know by now, YouTube sensation Logan Paul will be facing Floyd Mayweather Jr on February 20, 2021, live on pay-per-view.
Jake Paul was recently interviewed by TMZ about his brother, Logan’s upcoming bout opposing the greatest boxer of all-time, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The interviewee asked Jake how he thought Logan matched up with Mayweather, considering one of the greatest of all-time in Manny Pacquiao couldn’t touch him:
“No exactly, I agree. My brother’s fucked. It’s bad for the sport, I think it’s just for clout. You know, my brother’s a fake fighter, I’m the real fighter. He’s 0-1-1, I’m 3-0.
“But, you know, I wish him the best of luck. I just, like, don’t get in there with the guy who’s never even been knocked down. He’s been knocked down once and it was by accident.”
Logan responded to Jake’s comments on one of his Impaulsive Podcast episodes, and stated the following:
“I fully support Jake. Whatever drama he wants to stir or create, it really doesn’t bother me. Like, ‘Oh, you’re a fake boxer.’ Okay. Let’s box, because Jake is the kid that gets beat up by my sparring partners. That’s that kid.”
Logan continued: “I’ve become like rubber sheet metal, dude. In this fight, everyone’s saying a lot of things. And, for good reason. I’m fighting Floyd fucking Mayweather. So I’ve literally become immune to (everything). I’ve heard it all.”
Logan also stated on Brendan Schaub’s Food Truck Diaries that he expects a match up between himself and Jake to come about in the coming years, and he expects it to be one of the biggest sporting events in history.
Brendan and Logan were talking about how people have paid for years and years to see Mayweather lose, and that they’ll pay just as much to see Logan lose.
However, Brendan said a pay-per-view between Logan and Jake would break the pay-per-view the record. Schaub then asked Logan if he’d ever though about a fight between himself and his brother:
“My dad does not want us to do that. If you want my opinion, I think it’s inevitable. I think Jake and I in two-to-four-years time are gonna be beating the shit out of each other in a ring.
“And I think it’ll be one of the most historical sporting events to take place ever. The Klitschko’s didn’t do it, they had a chance, right?” Brendan chimed in, “their mom made them agree never to do it.”
Logan responded: “Yeah, see, our mom tried to make us agree (not) to do that, but you got the one tatted up problem-child, and then you got the podcasting, Pokemon-collecting, apoxie-producing, whoever else I am.
Schaub responded: “I figured you were gonna be like, dude, come on, what’re you doing (asking), absolutely not. But you guys are open to it?” Logan lastly responded: “Very much so, yeah, I think I’d beat the shit out of him.”
We’ve got to be honest with ourselves, he may not be wrong.
Give it a couple more years; these two are still brand new to the sport, once they each get a couple more fights, this really could be one of the biggest events in the history of sports.
