Manny Pacquiao Gets Spoon-Fed By His Wife After Suffering Eye Injuries In Loss To Yordenis Ugas

Manny Pacquiao was seen getting spoon-fed by his wife after his suffered eye injuries in his loss to Yordenis Ugas on Saturday.

Pacquiao was supposed to fight Errol Spence Jr. but he was forced out of the fight and on short notice accepted a fight against Ugas. In the bout, Ugas was quicker to the punch and his jab was key as he landed good shots to Pacquiao and beat him by decision. He also cut open the Filipino which required stitches and after the loss, he was being spoon-fed by his wife.

It’s no doubt sad to see Pacquiao damaged like that, but his wife wrote in an Instagram post about marriage and what it means.

After the loss, Manny Pacquiao admitted he is 60-40 leaning towards retirement. He also said he was not as his best in the fight and at 42 knows his career could very well be over.

“Right now, I’m probably thinking about retirement, I don’t know. 60/40.” Pacquiao told ESPN. “In my heart, I want to continue [to] fight, but I have to consider, also, my body. When our lives are finished inside this world, we can take nothing. In this sport, this is my passion, this is why I’m still here fighting at the age of 42. I’m enjoying it, but sometimes you have to think about the life span of your body.”

“My performance tonight was not really 100% because it happened in the second or third round; I have cramping in both legs. I cannot move. So if my legs are not hurt, I can outbox him by moving fast, side by side. But it happened my legs stopped,” Pacquiao continued.

If this is the end of his career, Manny Pacquiao will go down in boxing history as his legacy is cemented as one of the best.
