Matchroom Boxing To Promote Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr.
The Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. fight will now be promoted by Matchroom Boxing.
The news was announced Wednesday by Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn who went on to reveal that a date and location would be announced shortly.

Triller was originally set to promote the fight.
However, booking the lightweight title clash has been a disaster throughout 2021 as it was rebooked and rescheduled multiple times for various reasons.
Eventually, the streaming platform decided to cut their losses after losing millions in promoting a fight that is still yet to happen.
Hearn and Matchroom Boxing will be looking to have better luck though fans still remained coy as there is no location or date for the fight as of yet.
Hopefully, the most cursed boxing fight in 2021 will finally take place before the end of the year.
