Mike Tyson Names The Price To Box Jake Paul

Mike Tyson said it’s unlikely he will box again but he has been asked countless times about boxing Jake Paul.

There’s no question Tyson vs. Paul would be a massive fight and it was reported the fight was in advance talks. However, nothing has come from it but the fight would still be one many would want to see.

“Mike and Jake are on board for an exhibition bout in Las Vegas,” a source said to The Sun. “A verbal deal has been struck to get it on, but like all forms of sports business, now it’s all about the contracts and money split. Mike is looking for a certain figure to get into the ring with a profit share guarantee. Jake obviously has that on his mind but is keen to show the world that stepping into the ring with a man once called the baddest man on the planet, takes his boxing career to the next level. This fight bridges the gap between old school boxing fans and the new generation of followers.”

After the report came out, both Mike Tyson and Jake Paul said it was not true and now the former heavyweight champ says he will need a billion dollars to take the fight, showing that he isn’t interested in it.

“Nobody told me that. Hey, I ain’t got no f***ing money. So where’s the f***ing contract,” Tyson said on his podcast (via SportBible). “I ain’t know nothing about it. At this time, it seems unlikely Mike Tyson will return to the ring anytime soon. He’s made his return in November of 2020 as he boxed Roy Jones Jr. to a draw in a highly-anticipated fight.
