Mike Tyson Says His Next Fight Is In February, Rumors Say It’ll Be Against One Of The Paul’s
Mike Tyson reportedly has his next fight booked.
The former heavyweight champion on the world made a comeback last November against Roy Jones Jr., where the two legends fought to a draw. After the fight, Tyson made it clear he would compete again and has since been linked to a fight with Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis. Yet, those didn’t come to fruition.
Now, according to Tyson, he will return in February against an intriguing opponent.
“I am going to have a return fight in February and we are pretty skeptical about the opponent, but it will be a really stimulating opponent,” Tyson said (via The Sun).
Keemstar, a YouTuber who covers news involving social media stars, reported that Tyson’s next fight will be against Logan Paul. Neither side have came out to say the story is not true. If it ends up being Paul, a fight between Tyson and the YouTuber would be massive and sell a ton of pay-per-views.
Mike Tyson (50-6 and two No Contests) last fought professionally back in June of 2005 as he lost to Kevin McBride. He ended his career on a two-fight losing skid as he was knocked out by Danny Williams. However, he is one of the best heavyweights ever but this fight against Paul would be an exhibition bout just like his fight against Jones Jr. last year.
Logan Paul (0-1) fought professionally in November of 2019 as he lost a split decision to YouTuber KSI. The two had an amateur exhibition bout where they fought to a draw. Paul, meanwhile, last fought back in June as he went all eight rounds against Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout.
