Mike Tyson Shows Off Speed And Power In Latest Training Video
Mike Tyson still has insane speed and power despite being 55-years-old.
The former heavyweight champion returned to the ring last November in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in Los Angeles. It was a highly-anticipated bout and Tyson actually impressed many and he has since teased doing another fight.
Now, Tyson took to social media to release training videos where he showed off that he still had speed and tremendous power.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Tyson is training as he has hinted at another fight ever since he last competed. He said he would be fighting May 29 against Evander Holyfield but that of course, did not come to fruition. However, he says he still wants to fight again but this time he will go all out and look for the KO.
“I want to do it again, and I want to do it against someone I could go all out on,” Tyson revealed on his Hotboxin with Mike Tyson podcast back in March. “It made me interested in wanting to do it again. I wanted to go the distance. I didn’t want to knock anybody out. That’s what people expected, but I wanted to go the distance.”
Mike Tyson ended his pro career with a record of 50-6 and two No Contests and ended his career with a two-fight losing streak as he lost to Kevin McBride and Danny Williams. In his career, he was the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990. He was also the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, as well as the only heavyweight to unify them in succession. He also became the lineal champion in 1991.
