Otto Wallin Calls For Tyson Fury Rematch, Claims No One Cares About Derek Chisora Triloy
Otto Wallin is hoping to rematch Tyson Fury.
Fury recently came out and said he would be ending his retirement and wanted the trilogy match against Derek Chisora. The news came as a surprise as people thought Fury was going to hang up his gloves for good.
“This one goes out to Derek ‘The s**thouse’ Chisora. You’re running Derek from the trilogy,” Fury said in the video. “You call yourself ‘War,’ but you should call yourself ‘chicken’ because you’re running from the trilogy and from a career-high payday. Get that f***ing contract signed.”
According to reports, Chisora is not interested in the trilogy so with that, Wallin is hoping to book the rematch against Fury. The two fought back 2019 with Fury winning by decision but Wallin cut open Fury and the fight was nearly stopped because of that. With that, Wallin believes the rematch should be next.
“I deserved it with my performance in the first fight. I landed more punches on Fury than anybody has in his whole career. I cut him badly in two places and the fight could have easily been stopped. In fact, if I had those cuts the fight would for sure have been stopped. When I fought Fury I had never been on that level before and I had only fought one round in 18 months prior to that fight. Now I’ve gained experience in fighting Fury and winning four other fights after that,” Wallin told Lord Ping. “I’m a better fighter now than what I was in 2019. It’s simply not a competitive fight [between Fury and Chisora]. Fury has already beaten Chisora twice and once stopped him. You can’t compare my fight with Fury with Chisoras two fights.”
Otto Wallin is 24-1 and one No Contest and has won four straight since the loss to Fury. Following the loss to Fury, he beat Travis Kauffman, Dominic Breazeale, Kamil Sokolowski, and Rydell Booker, all by decision.
