Boxer Paul Bamba has passed away at the age of 35.

Bamba last competed less than a week ago against Rogelio Medina, defeating him to become WBA Gold Cruiserweight champion. In addition, he surpassed an incredible record of going 14-0 in one year in 2024, breaking the previous record set by Mike Tyson. In the aftermath of his win, he actually called out Jake Paul for a potential world title fight at some point down the road.

Bamba was signed to Ne-Yo’s management company, and it was he who confirmed the news in a statement released alongside Paul’s family.
