Video: Logan Paul Shares How He Got The Floyd Mayweather Fight
Just a few days after Logan Paul‘s little brother, Jake, straight up starched Nate Robinson at the Mike Tyson versus Roy Jones Jr event, Logan was announced to be fighting the greatest boxer of all time, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
It took away some of the shine from Jake’s stellar performance, which Logan said he felt bad about on Food Truck Diaries. Nonetheless, we have the David versus Goliath match up, it’s set for February 20, 2021 at a to be determined venue.
On the video posted above, Logan gives a complete breakdown of how he managed to get this fight signed, and he also shared his FaceTime video with none other than Floyd Mayweather, perhaps the reason he got the fight.
If he hadn’t antagonized Mayweather, maybe Mayweather wouldn’t have been too interested.
Now he is, and it’s become quite a spectacle. People hate on the Paul’s, but just watch. One day, they’re going to be fighting each other, and it’s going to be one of the biggest sporting events ever.
Everything, especially fighting has become more spectacle-like now more than ever, it’s only a matter of time until it’s all about the popular people. Hell, it’s already like that.
Nonetheless, this will be very interesting to see. Paul stands 6’2” with a 76” reach, while Mayweather stands 5’8” with a 72” reach. This is the most interesting part of the fight, not to mention, Paul walks around at 200-210 lbs, and Mayweather walks around at about 160 lbs.
It’s kind of weird seeing someone that retired from boxing with a 50-0 record face off against someone with a record of 0-1, even if he is a lot bigger. It’s reminiscent of when Conor McGregor did it, and with the same person, crazily enough.
How does this spectacle end up going down?
