Ryan Garcia Sends A Warning To Tank Davis: ‘I Will Whoop Your Ass And I Will Put You To Sleep’

Ryan Garcia is still hoping to fight Tank Davis.

Garcia is set to fight Javier Fortuna on July 16 at the Crypto.com in a big fight for Garcia. If he wins, he will be in the mix to fight one of the top lightweights as Fortuna is a former world champion which is what excites Garcia so much.

“He’s an ex-world champion. He’s a veteran,” Garcia said about Fortuna to TMZ Sports. “But, the fact that I’m coming into, I feel my prime and my best ability skillfully and mentally, I feel like this will be a short night for Javier Fortuna. I just know I’m gonna fight Tank after I beat Fortuna.”

If Garcia does beat Fortuna, he hopes he can get the Davis fight next time out.

Not only would Ryan Garcia vs. Tank Davis be a massive fight, but Garcia says he would KO Davis.

“That fight will not go the distance. No way possible can it go the distance. I will not let Gervonta Davis off the hook,” Garcia said. “I’m gonna beat your ass. I promise that — I will whoop your ass and I will put you to sleep! Just know that there’s a lot more than meets the eye with me. Don’t think I’m soft. You come find out and actually make that decision to fight me, you’ll find out real soon there’s nothing soft about me.”

Ryan Garcia is currently 22-0 and coming off the win over Emmanuel Tagoe back in April. Tank Davis, meanwhile, scored a TKO win over Rolando Romero back in May to retain his WBA lightweight title.
