Skye Nicolson ‘Excited’ For Future Fights After Latest Win
Skye Nicolson is eager for her future matchups as she defeated Raven Chapman on Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
It was a dominating performance from Nicolson who was pleased with her performance as she believes she controlled the fight and dominated the bout.
“I felt I controlled the fight,” Nicolson said (via BoxingScene). “I dictated the pace and my timing was on point. I felt sharp and I beat her to the punch. A big part of my gameplan was offsetting her, feinting and beating her to the punch… I’m really excited for what’s to come. There’s barely a scratch on the surface. They [her opponents] keep thinking they’ve cracked the code, but the code seems to remain uncracked.”
Skye Nicolson dominated the out from start to finish and will have options for her next bout. It likely will be against Tiara Brown, but Brown is set to box Dyana Vargas, so should Brown win, Nicolson is hopeful that is the fight.
But, regardless of who she fights next, Skye Nicolson’s promoter Eddie Hearn has a hard time thinking anyone will beat her.
“I don’t see anyone beating her,” Hearn said. “And now it’s time to capture all the belts. Undisputed awaits.”
Skye Nicolson is 12-0 as a pro and coming off the win over Chapman. Before that, she scored a decision win over Vargas. In her career, Nicolson has notable wins over Sarah Mahfoud, Sabrina Maribel Perez, Linda Laura Lecca, and Tania Alvarez among others.
